For us book lovers, there is nothing nicer than to just sit with a good book and a cuppa. They give us the chance to exit our normal daily lives and fall in love or soak up the culture of another country or even go back or forth in time and set out on an adventure to lands unknown. We could even scare ourselves silly with a horror story or make ourselves laugh with a good old comedy. But if you are anything like me, sometimes, I love to relax with a book of poetry. Now, don't you go thinking that poetry is boring and hard to understand. I have published a book poetry that has had me falling off my seat in laughter with Freshwater by Miss Carolina. Another book I published, is about things that we can all relate to, The Stuff of Life by Maddie Williams. Anyway, take a gander at what we have below and see if there is anything there for you. Happy reading.

From Sunrise to Sunset by The Oldbury Writing Group (OWG) is an anthology of poems and short stories based on WW2. Although we know that this is a theme that has been brilliantly done many times before by other great authors, we also appreciate that there is not enough out there that portrays the daily lives of those that lived through some of their worst days imaginable. After many of the OWG members spoke to different people who lived through the war years, they came up with a book that would pull at the heart strings, shock or even make you giggle as as their stories or poems unfold. From Sunrise to Sunset is available at Amazon for £4.99.
